At this lecture Mikael Syväjärvi shares his experience in silicon carbide and graphene to go from research to market. He started in silicon carbide research in 1995 and have seen the 30 years journey from research to real commercial market with societal relevance. He was also early with making high quality graphene on silicon carbide. His research team had first observation of epitaxial graphene on silicon carbide in 2005 and formed a company in 2011.
