The purpose of the R2B portal is to build capacity of researchers to strengthen their career and utilization of research. It is also aimed at others interested and active in bringing research to business. It is basically about transfer of knowledge by training, workshops nd courses.

A large part of climate solutions in year 2050 will come from things which are in research and development today. We can create a strong contribution to sustainable impact by addressing research to business. Research will not come to market unless it shows its value. Innovation, entrepreneurship, patent, etc are only steps along the to the main question: how will it make business? Business can be in various forms. These have common thing: creates (real) impact. The R2B is about finding what is our (real) impact.
